Can I change or cancel my order?

This all depends on how far the manufacturing process has gone. If the order is still being processed and the material of the dress has not been cut then it is possible to cancel or change the order.

Changing an order

To ensure that we make your garment exactly to your specification, once an order has been submitted, any change (where it is possible) is charged at £20 plus the cost of the style change. There is no refund for downgrading options.

Cancelling an order

It is possible to cancel your order once it has been submitted where the cutting has not been started. This will carry a £40 cancellation charge. Where cutting has already started 50% of the suit cost plus a £40 cancellation charge will be levied.

Do you provide a fit guarantee?

It is difficult to give a fit guarantee as the garments are manufactured using the customers measurements. The item may come to you requiring some alterations. Adjustments are made to the price of the garments in order to allow for this. We usually allow for approximately 5% off the garment to cater for any alterations that may have to be made. Most high streets have tailors who would be able to carry out these alterations. The customer has the responsibility to find a suitable tailor to carry out these alterations.

How do I measure myself?

It is important that you get someone to carry out your measurements. There is a lot of guidance on Youtube.com to gets some tips. We also have guidance on measurements on its website.

How does it all work?

Select the garment you are interested in, choose the colour and size. The description of the garment will outline the nature of the garment, the fabrics used. If you are interested in a made to measure garment then fill in the measurements chart. Pay for the order. The order then is executed in our manufacturing unit in India and the garment is dispatched to you in between 4 to 6 weeks.

How long does it take to receive my garment?

The process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks. If you are ordering for a very special occasion please ensure that you have plenty of time in between your function and the anticipated time of your garment delivery, as sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise and the process can be delayed. This would allow you make alternative arrangement in case there are unforeseen problems.

What happens if I give the wrong measurements?

A very large percentage of our online customers are delighted with their suit at the first attempt. Following our easy-to-use guide will result in a perfectly fitting garment.

Once you have submitted your order to our tailors, your order is personally checked by our tailor, and if a particular measurement seems unusual, we check it with you before continuing your order.

For a best fitting garment it is important that that you are measured properly.

What if I need alterations to my garment?

We are extremely proud of our high level of tailoring accuracy, however at times alterations have to be made which would enable perfect fit. Alterations can be carried out at most high streets.

When do I pay?

You pay for your suit when you place your order. Please note that, even if you have paid in full, your order will not be processed unless you have also completed a full set of measurements.

When do I prepare to receive my garment?

You will be notified by email at the time of dispatch that your suit has been shipped, but if for any reason the journey from Lehengahouse.com in Birmingham to your home is taking longer than expected, then our team will be on hand to assist you in tracking its exact whereabouts. We use reputable courier companies for domestic and international for all our shipping.
